He looks much more like himself than Hugo Weaving's portrayal. [I like Hugo Weaving as an actor and he got the personality down but the Eldar are canonically immortal and Elrond should have looked no older than thirty**, and HW was 39 and looked fortysomething/early fifties when he played Elrond.]

**Even Cirdan, who is one of the oldest Elves [older than Maglor's grandfather] still wouldn't look older than fifty or so.
