Scions Of Eternity: Amdír and Amroth

ex_flameandsong751This is the penultimate portrait in the Scions Of Eternity collection, we're at 51/52 on Ao3 and expect to complete it within the next few days if not sooner.

SV note: Amdír has golden hair because of his alternate name, Malgalad (gold-shine), but he’s a Sinda, not a Vanya, so his hair doesn’t have the gleam of Vanyarin gold hair. Amroth’s hair is specifically described as “bright” in Unfinished Tales, so his hair is a brighter gold.
I really enjoy the version of Amroth’s backstory in which he is the son of Galadriel and Celeborn, so his hair color also hints at that possibility. Perhaps he’s Amdír’s foster-son, rather than a biological son? 🤔 (He looks more like he’s descended from the House of Finwë, to me. I’m coming up with so many fun variations of how that could be … )
